Christmas and New Years, a month late :)

Sorry it has been a while since we blogged. But, for the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, (and any friends who might be interested), here are some updates!

We decided to spend our holidays here in CA with our own little family. It was really nice to get a real tree and not have to worry about packing. It was really relaxing! Here are just a few pics:

We started a gingerbread house and didn't finish decorating...

Christmas Eve we spent with our good friends, The Cullimores, and Matthew and Sophie acted out a nativity scene. They were really adorable.

Matthew enjoyed opening LOTS of gifts on Christmas morning

For New Years, we were able to go to the Rose Parade. It was really fun! The coolest thing was having that stealth fly over us! Here are some pics from the parade taken with my new Canon Rebel XSi (a special Christmas gift from Spencer-THANKS BABE!)

Cute pictures! Where did you watch the parade from? It looked like you were so high up!

Spencer works with some architects whose building is on Colorado Blvd. We were on top of it at first (to see the jets) and then we went downstairs to watch it from the window. It was really comfortable and free! :)

What a sweet picture of Matthew biting your nose! He is getting so big. All of those pictures are really great, actually.

I love the picture of Matthew and Sophie as Joseph and Mary. So cute!
